Happy 5th Birthday Chloe!!!

I can not believe that it has been 5 years since Chloe was born. She is such a joy, and such a beautiful girl. We celebrated her birthday with her friends a few weeks ago. She wanted to have a Wizard of OZ Party, since she decided to be Dorothy for Halloween. She was so excited. We had a bounce house, played games, and decorated little trinket boxes, oh yeah! I can't forget the rainbow piniata. She has been asking for that forever. Today she got to pick out her birthday dinner which was breakfast for dinner, her favorite. We will do a family party on Sunday with her Grammy's and Grampy's. The top 10 things I love about Chloe:

1. She is such a sweet girl, even when she pulls attitude
2. She loves to go to garage sales with me on Saturdays
3. She always lets her little brother tag along everywhere she goes
4. She loves to put on dancing and singing shows for us
5. She sings along to Taylor Swift and Myle Cyrus at the top of her lungs
6. She is beautiful inside and out
7. She can always make us laugh (Emerson thinks she is hilarious)
8. She is so talented, she succeeds at almost everything she tries
9. She is really creative, she loves to make clothes for her stuffed animals, and redecorate her playhouse, and dollhouse
10. She really is one of the best daughters anyone could ask for

Happy Birthday Chloe!! We Love You (all the way to the moon)

1 down, and 1 more to go!

The upstairs bathroom is officially done. I was able to finally take a bath in a completed bathroom, and it was wonderful. I think it turned out pretty well. Sorry I always forget to take before pictures, but most everyone has seen the bathroom before.

I know... I am a slacker.

Life has been really crazy for us the past few months. Ever since the flood I feel like my house has been totally torn up. We are in a total remodel of both our bathrooms, yes I said both. Since we had to do the bathroom downstairs we decided to have all of the plumbing redone in our house since we have needed to do it since we moved in over 5 years ago, and since the walls would be torn out downstairs now was the time. Then about a week before the plumbing was to be redone, I found a new jetted tub at a garage sale for $100 dollars, so I convinced Marty to redo the upstairs bathroom at the same time. We are almost done with the upstairs bathroom, it should be completed by Friday. I will post pictures once it is done. Marty is just starting on the bathroom downstairs, which I am sure will be a long process, hopefully no longer than a month. I am starting to go crazy, even Marty agrees with me, he told me I have been mad since he cut the 1st hole in the wall. He is probably right. And then amid all of this my Grandpa Dahl passed away. He was my 1st grandparent to pass away. It was really tough, and it still kind of is. It is crazy to think that he isn't here anymore for us to tease. He was such a great guy. I feel blessed to have been able to have him for so long though, and I still have all of my other grandparents living.
